I design CCTV, access control and door entry systems for property managers, facilities teams and business owners across London and the Home Counties. I’ve worked in electronic security for over a decade. Before that, I spent my early career in IT networks, starting with an electronic engineering apprenticeship at Marconi Communications Systems.
That background shapes how I work. A modern CCTV system is a network device, so I treat network design and cyber security as part of the specification, not an add-on.
I design it. EJ Vision installs and supports it.
Installation and ongoing support are carried out by EJ Vision, a security systems installer I’ve worked alongside since 2020. You deal with me from the first conversation to handover, and I stay involved afterwards as an extension of the EJ Vision team.
Engineers sometimes refine a detail once they’re on site, drawing on installation experience a desk-based design can’t fully anticipate. Any change is agreed with you and recorded before it happens.
Clear advice you can act on
My job is to understand what you need, explain the options in plain terms, and recommend what fits your site and budget. You should leave every conversation able to make a confident decision, whether or not you go ahead with me.
How I work
- I understand the requirement before proposing anything.
- I identify everyone with a stake early: owners, tenants, IT and the people who’ll use the system.
- I reuse existing cabling and equipment where it’s sound, rather than defaulting to a full rewire.
- I follow the same process on every project: a conversation, a site survey, then a written proposal.
